ANOTHER BEER STOP i see a trend developing here
The country fried steak is something I come here for every Monday. That good. The ribs are wonderful and tonight I'm trying the smothered chopped sirloin. The place and people are a gem here.
The food was decent, so no complaints there. The service was decent as well. The staff was courteous and kind, and took care of us despite there being almost 30 people in our group. Where this business falls short, and will never get my recommendation, is the owners husband. Upon arrival, he was sitting at the bar drinking and seemed decent. Then when talking to one of our group he consistently decided to use derogatory language and curse words towards the member and when the member got upset and told him off, he sat at the bar and mean mugged us and bad mouthed us. Then later on he decides to go outside to "handle" the issue, which resulted in myself, as well as another member stopping him, and then the whole bar erupted. Luckily no punches were thrown, but the owners husband continued to cuss and yell and be a general drunken a**. We had a large group, and a few members who have far reaching voices, and he managed to p**s every last one of us off. There were children in our group who had to view this too. Unprofessional, despicable and truly disappointing because they came so highly reviewed. Get your drunken husband under control or ban him access to the establishment. Many a bars and restaurants have gone downhill and out of business due to this erratic and childish behavior.
Good food and good service. It's got that great dive bar vibe.
This place has awesome good as well as the service!! They throw some of the beat parties around the holidays and do great fundraising parties too! I will be eating there many more times in my lifetime!!
